I have recently uploaded some of my traditional artwork and the larger pieces had to be photographed, and they did not come out so well here they are:

fav.me/d3gqjkz
fav.me/d3gqjas
fav.me/d3gqj1q
fav.me/d3gqiw5
fav.me/d3gqiqh
fav.me/d3gqi46

I think I may try to take them into Photoshop and do some editing and color correcting, but I dont know if that is for the best. Wouldn't that be like lying? If you have any comments or advise please feel free to comment.

Hi KassyOh,

When you photograph traditional artwork to be able to show it as your art on DA, the photographed version will never look as good as the original artpiece.
So...editing in it in Ps will do your artpiece only justice!
It is up to you if you want to make for instance the colors brighter then those in the traditional version but you can also try to make a digital version that equals the quality of the traditional one...
(Examples and ideas can be seen in my gallery) Personally I have no problem with making colors brighter! This can only be done if in the image the color is already there but it doesn't show yet...
Wish you luck!
