I have recently uploaded some of my traditional artwork and the larger pieces had to be photographed, and they did not come out so well here they are:

fav.me/d3gqj1q
fav.me/d3gqiw5
fav.me/d3gqiqh
fav.me/d3gqi46

I think I may try to take them into Photoshop and do some editing and color correcting, but I dont know if that is for the best. Wouldn't that be like lying? If you have any comments or advise please feel free to comment.

A big FAT thank you
so, I have adventured into my first attempt at digital painting. I have to say that it takes some getting use to, but I have found a couple of great tutorials and I wanted to share them with anyone that I can. The first thing I did was go digging around YouTube for digital painting basics. This is what I found: http://youtu.be/Hi_3HymnpXE
This lead me to a wonderful artist's (One-Vox) YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/Bugmeyer and then I looked him up here on DA http://one-vox.deviantart.com/
After wondering around his page for a while I found out that he is part of a group that another one of my fav DA digital painters navate htt
Hunter
So I have been really thinking about my "hunter" piece. It is definitely not finished, but I don't really know how to go after it. Should I try to use color? Should I go in and do a lot of detail and keep it a graphite drawing? I know I would like to try out painting with my tablet, but I really have no idea how.I guess I just need to spend some more time experimenting with it. The great thing about going digital is that I can save out several copies of it. =D Well I guess I will keep an update on this one, I just wish I could get the way it looks out of my head and onto the screen...
Style
So, I should know what my "style" of art is by now right? Sooo I think that I will jot down a few things that I feel I want my stuff to represent.
~ Movement
~ gestural
~ the colors things SHOULD be
~ soft
~ Distant
~ Utopian (is that even a way to describe something?!?)
~ Single moments
~ emotion
I guess I will try to organize my ideas about what I am and get back to everyone on my "style"
To tell the truth, I just do what I want with the stuff I seem to come across..
If the few things I have up make any impact on you, please toss up the random adjectives that float to the top of your head.
Thanks... maybe

Hi KassyOh,
When you photograph traditional artwork to be able to show it as your art on DA, the photographed version will never look as good as the original artpiece.
So...editing in it in Ps will do your artpiece only justice!
It is up to you if you want to make for instance the colors brighter then those in the traditional version but you can also try to make a digital version that equals the quality of the traditional one...
(Examples and ideas can be seen in my gallery) Personally I have no problem with making colors brighter! This can only be done if in the image the color is already there but it doesn't show yet...
Wish you luck!
